Last Friday, our middle school students were treated to a special presentation by writer Briar Grace-Smith, who is visiting Guangzhou as a writer-in-residence at Sun Yat Sen University.
ISA’s rich music programme includes formal music appreciation lessons and individual music lessons with expert music teachers for every student.
Instruments include: violin, cello, piano, guzheng, drums, guitar, clarinet, saxophone and flute. Opportunities for students to join ensembles, choirs and musical performances are offered to all students.
Painting, drawing, graphic design, animation, calligraphy, pottery and crafts are taught in the school day as part of ISA’s extensive visual arts curriculum.
The art programme is enhanced by ISA’s location in the Redtory Arts Complex, where students can visit galleries and have lessons with professional artists.
